[SOLD OUT] The Hunt Museum, LCGA is hosting a series of Concerts For Kids aged 6-12. The series will be friendly, intimate and informal performances that connect to artwork from our permanent collection. The first performer is Julieanne Hennelly. These are free events with two performances available: 10.30 – 11.00 and 11.00 – 11.30. Continuing the series of wildlife webinars from EGLA and Limerick Council, Dr Ken Whelan (Atlantic Salmon Trust) will be taking on the topic of River Life. PICK OF THE WEEK Britton Outdoors are hosting a Sunset Hike in the Galtees Mountains. Meeting at 6.30 pm at the Kilbehenny Community Centre. The hike should take approx 4 hours depending on the group pace. Gear List: Sturdy walking boots, rain gear, torch, warm clothing, water & snacks, camera (optional). The Hunt Mueseum and the Limerick Figure Drawing Society are running a Costume Characters Drawing workshops from 11 am to 2 pm. The models will be wearing replica costumes from our ‘800 Years of Fashion’ collection. Try your hand at drawing the costumes with help from Society members. Suitable for children (6+) and adults. The Downtown Dixieland Band are entertaining people with Jazz on the Boardwalk at the bandstand on Harveys Quay at 12 noon. Find out more
