All Week
The Made of Earth Exhibition continues at the Hunt Museum until 6th April. Made of Earth explores the story of clay and ceramics; how they have impacted civilisation and how civilisation has developed through their use. More info here.
LCGA is also hosting three exhibitions. The first exhibition is by artist Brian Fay entitled The Most Recent Forever. The second is by Caroline Dunne entitled Objects of Memories. The third is a collection kindly loaned to the Gallery from the private collection of Maire & Maurice Foley. All exhibitions will run until 12th February. More info here
Monday 30th January
The IFI@Belltable series continues with Corsage. Directed by Marie Kreutzer. Vienna, 1877: Elizabeth (Vicky Krieps), the Austro-Hungarian Empress, is celebrating her 40th birthday with her husband, Emperor Franz Joseph (Florian Teichtmeister), aware that for a woman internationally renowned for her beauty and style the age signals the approach of decrepitude and irrelevance. Limerick Sports Partnership’s weekly ActiveCities Walking Group is doing the Condell Road Walk. Meeting at Shelbourne Park at 11am. No need to register. Just turn up and enjoy the walk.
There’s an Irish Dancing Class in the Record Room (downstairs in the Commercial Bar) from 7pm-8pm. Cost €10. Followed by the Tintéan Sessions take place in the Commercial Bar from 9 pm.
Jack Brolly’s Weird and Wonderful Quiz Night returns to Crew Brewing at 7.30. €20 for a team of 4. Money raised goes to the recovery fund for Socks the Dog. First come, first served. Nonsense guaranteed.

Poetry Ireland & the MA in Creative Writing in UL present Vital Signs, Poems of Illness and Healing – a poetry reading event in UCH at 2pm. Martin Dyar, Victoria Kennedick and Karen J McDonnell. Parkrun is a free, weekly, timed 5k run that takes place every Saturday morning at 9.30am. Limerick has Parkruns at the UL Boathouse, Mungret Park and The Demense in Newcastle West. All you need to do is register once on parkrun.com to get your barcode and you can show up to any of the events.
The Wickham Way will be open 10am to 3pm with the stalls selling arts, crafts, etc. from 10am to 3pm.
