Limerick Events Guide – 13th-19th May

Every week when I’m putting together the Limerick Events Guide, I’m constantly impressed by the people who give up their time and energy to organise events in this city. These are people who hear people say there’s nothing going on and instead of joining the complain, they go out and do something about it. So this week I’d like to pay tribute to each of these legends. Limerick Events Guide – 22nd-28th April

I know I say this a lot but I’m always blown away by the amazing number of diverse events that happen in Limerick each week. Part of the reason the Limerick Events Guide is often delayed is that there’s so much to report on each week. And this week is no exception. Apologies to those who fell for our little April Fools Joke last week and got worried that the Pigtown Times was abandoning Limerick for the Big Smoke. Rest assured, we’re going nowhere. Not only will we continue to bring you the Limerick Events Guide each week. The Pigtown Times is Limerick to it’s core. It just would feel right doing this for somewhere else. Limerick Events Guide – 4th-10th March

I was asked last week what changes have I seen in the 10 years, I’ve been compiling the Limerick Events Guide here on the Pigtown Times. One of the things is that there are so many more events going on. Rather than say that nothing is going on in Limerick, people are going out and putting on the events they want to see. The great problem I have is that it sometimes takes a bit longer to compile these listings each week (which explains why we’re a bit late this week) So keep up the good work Limerick! Limerick Events Continue Reading
