Tuesday 4th February
A Four Week Morning Yoga course with Úna O’Rourke takes place at the Lough Gur Visitor Centre at 9.30am. These morning sessions are aimed at people of all levels and abilities. The classes are led by Úna O’Rourke, who has many years of experience as a yoga instructor. Her class are open, inviting, and inclusive. It really is the perfect way to start the week and the year! These classes will run for 4 weeks and cost €15 per class (total €60). (please note the first class is on Tuesday, February 4th, and then the 3 following Mondays). More info here

A Tribute to Hans Zimmer & Film Favourites Illuminated takes place in the University Concert Hall at 8pm. An immersive tribute to Hans Zimmer and John William’s most iconic music with a live chamber orchestra in a moon-lit setting. Tickets from €44.66. More info here

Úna has run many classes at Lough Gur and she brings massive amounts of experience and empathy. There will be four sessions in the February, starting on Thursday the 6th. The Book Launch For ‘Moving On’ By Roisin Meaney takes place in O’Mahony’s at 6pm. This is Roisin’s 22nd novel and is sure to be another bestseller. The Ukraine Ballet of Peace presents The Nutcracker in the University Concert Hall at 7.30pm. Track Dogs play Dolans Upstairs at 8pm. Track Dogs are two Irishmen, an Englishman and an American, (Garrett Wall, Dave Mooney, Howard Brown & Robbie K.Jones), whose artistic name derives from the dark subterranean world of New York’s subway system.
