Limerick Events Guide – 14th-20th August

In all the years I’ve been compiling a Limerick Events Guide, this has to be one of the busiest weeks. It might be the summer but there’s so much going on. We’ve got Feile na Greine, National Heritage Week, and HER Outdoors Week as well as all the great gigs, comedy nights, art exhibitions and community gatherings that Limerick has to offer. No doubt we’ll be adding more events as the week goes on.

Our Pigtown Pick of the Week is Feile na Greine which takes place from Friday to Sunday across the city. What started with a group of friends frustrated with the fact Limerick doesn’t have a music festival, has grown into what, in my opinion, is one of the coolest things on the Limerick calendar every year. As well as some amazing gigs across the weekend, there are workshops, a film screening, and a special Feile na Greine beer produced by Treaty City and Crew. Oh, and all the gigs are free! What’s not to love?
