Pigtown Listings – 27th July to 2nd August
Updated 29/7/2020 I spoke be starting this week’s Pigtown Listings by talking how amazing the Live at the Drive-In gigs were. Unfortunately, this is not the case. If you can at all, log on to www.songsfromanemptyroom.com and make a donation to support the crews that make events happen. It’s a somewhat quieter week this week but there are still a few events going on. All Week UL and the Limerick PPN are hosting a special consultation on the Limerick Directly Elected Continue Reading
Pigtown Listings – 20th to 26th July
Update 21/7/20 – since publishing this week’s listings, we have since heard the sad news that the Live at the Drive-In gigs have been cancelled due to changes to the Covid-19 restrictions. More details below The pubs might not be opening after all but there’s still lots going in Continue Reading

Bandcamp Day
The current Covid-19 restrictions have been very tough on musicians as they lose out on earnings from gigs. This means they’re even more reliant on sales of their music and a site like Bandcamp is vital for this. If you’re not familiar with Bandcamp, it’s an online platform where emerging artists can sell their music and reach new audiences. To help artists in this time, Bandcamp is waivings its fees on online sales for 24 hours today (it will be doing the same on the first Fridays of June and July). This will be a huge benefit to local artists Continue Reading
