The weeks are rolling around so fast these days it seems. It only seems like yesterday I was writing up the Limerick Events Guide for July and now we’re suddenly on the 4th-10th of September? Limerick Events Guide – 28th August-3rd September
Every week I sit down to compile the Limerick Events Guide, I’m blown away by the various events that happen in Limerick week in, week out. It might be a bit of cliche but there really is something for everyone. Our Pigtown Pick of the Week this week is Tom Crean – Antarctic Explorer in the Lime Tree Theatre on Saturday. This week also sees the start of the biannual EVA International Arts Festival which will take place across various venues over the next few weeks. I’m a bit late posting the Limerick Events Guide this week as I found myself spending the weekend in a phone/internet blackspot (yes they still exist). When I did finally get a signal, my feed was filled with videos of people out enjoying themselves on the streets of Limerick for Feile na Greine. The festival goes from strength to strength every year. Well done to everyone involved. While we might be late getting this post out in the wild, there’s plenty going on. The summer continues and so do the events. This week our Pick of the Week is the Féile Na Gréine Fundraiser gig in Pharmacia. We also have the Wild Geese Festival as well as the return of Anna’s Anchor to Limerick. And we’re back with another exciting week of events here in the Treaty City. The weather has been great recently and Limerick have added yet another Munster Championship to the Trophy cabinet.
