Twilight Thursdays

Limerick is lighting up the night with Twilight Thursday — a new monthly series dedicated to celebrating the city’s night-time economy. From live music and food pop-ups to late-night shopping and cultural happenings, there’s a wide range of events and promotional offers to fill your night.

Twilight Thursday is a new city-wide initiative spearheaded by Limerick’s Night Time Economy Office.  Once a month, the city will come alive after hours with a curated programme of events, exclusive offers, and extended opening hours across shops, bars, galleries, and more.

Starting on 29th May, Twilight Thursdays will take place on the last Thursday of every month:

Three Bridges Walk

Kick off the evening with a family-friendly version of the Three Bridges Walk, with face painters, kids entertainers and lots of family-friendly activities. You can join the route at any stage from 6pm to 8pm and explore at your own pace. More info here

Jurassic Takeover at The Wickham Way

The Dinosaurs are taking over the Wickham Way at 7.15pm and 8.15pm. Come face-to-face with a 10ft tall Stygimoloch or the flesh-eating giant, Hector the Velociraptor! Suitable for ages 3+. Free event. More info here

The Big Limerick Seisiún at the Locke

Live Irish music, accompanied by live Irish dancers, takes place in the Locke at 5pm and 9pm. Free event. More info here

Supper Club at South’s Pub

South’s Pub invite you to join them for a specially crafted menu of refined but casual dining. Two courses for €23 or Three Courses for €28. Served until 7pm. More info here

Twilight Social Hosted By The Spitjack & Brown Thomas

This glamorous experience begins at Brown’s Brasserie in Brown Thomas with a Prosecco and canapé reception, followed by a Charlotte Tilbury beauty showcase and a stroll to the award-winning SpitJack restaurant for a sumptuous 3-course. Twilight On Little Ellen Street

Experience the buzz of Little Ellen Street from 6pm with The Old Quarter and the newly opened Fordes Courtyard. Live music from 9pm. Cocktail offers, Delicious Tapas, Pizza and Wine specials.

Limerick’s Classic Clubs Map!

The Day Big Day Out Festival celebrates the Classic Club Nights in Limerick, from Tropics to Boogie Wonderland and Docs to Trinity Rooms, with the launch of the new Classic Clubs Map. The launch event takes place in the Commercial Bar from 6pm to 9pm with some of Limerick’s most legendary club DJs playing the big tunes from their dancefloors.

Twilight Tales

Experience a captivating traditional Irish storytelling session filled with legends, history, and folklore of the ancient city of Limerick—brought to life through story, song, and verse with David Collopy in the Captain’s Room at The Hunt Museum from 5.30pm. This cultural and educational performance promises to entertain the whole family, young and old alike, enchanting both visitors and locals with the rich heritage of our great city. Free event. Triple Thursday at Myles Breens
