I spoke be starting this week’s Pigtown Listings by talking how amazing the Live at the Drive-In gigs were. Unfortunately, this is not the case. The events sector has been hit hard by COVID-19 and will continue to struggle for some time to come. Get West are running a five-week Learn to Kayak course at the Mill Road Fairy Garden in Corbally. This course runs for 5 consecutive weeks, on Tuesday evenings. Classes start at 6:30 pm and finish at 9 pm for the 5 sessions spread over a 5 week period. Book online

Guitarist and composer Aengus Hackett plays a Lunchtime Jazz Concert at the Hunt Mueseum at 12.30 pm. Suggested donation €10. Find out more
The Coronas are launching their new album True Love Waits today. To mark the launch, the Coronas’ Ice Cream tour will stop in Dolans Limerick at 2pm with the band singing copies of the album while Murphy’s Ice Cream who are bring along their Super Sprinkles ice-cream van and giving free pots of their most popular flavour, Dingle Sea Salt to fans of the band. Yoga Instructor Kathryn Crowley is hosting a Summer Wellness Programme comprising of yoga for Adults at 10.30 am and Art & Movement for children at midday. Cost is €5 (free for unemployed). Pre-registration on https://www.kathryn.ie is essential.
