All Week
The Made of Earth Exhibition continues at the Hunt Museum until 6th April. Made of Earth explores the story of clay and ceramics; how they have impacted civilisation and how civilisation has developed through their use. More info here.
Limerick City Gallery of Art (LCGA) organised an exhibition Remember Jim Kemmy in 1998 to mark the death of Jim Kemmy former Mayor of Limerick, T.D. and Councillor. To mark the 25th anniversary of Jim’s death LCGA has brought this exhibition together again, along with some new pieces. Runs until 22nd January. More info here
LCGA is also hosting three more exhibitions. The first exhibition is by artist Brian Fay entitled The Most Recent Forever. The second is by Caroline Dunne entitled Objects of Memories. The third is a collection kindly loaned to the Gallery from the private collection of Maire & Maurice Foley. Both exhibitions will run until 12th February. More info here
Monday 9th January
The Enlightenment Art Exhibition by Limerick Artist Emma O’Connor-Bray is on display at Treaty City Brewery until Monday 9th January. More info here.
Tuesday 10th January
Limerick Sports Partnership’s weekly ActiveCities Walking Group is doing the Three Bridges Walk. Meeting at Arthur’s Quay Park at 11am. No need to register. Just turn up and enjoy the walk.
There’s an Irish Dancing Class in the Record Room (downstairs in the Commercial Bar) from 7pm-8pm. Cost €10.
Wednesday 11th January
It’s Salsa Wednesday in the Record Room (Commercial Bar) from 7.30pm until late. Evening classes followed by Latin Social.
It’s Drink & Draw night at Crew Brewing at 8pm.
Thursday 12th January
The Limerick School of Art & Design (LSAD) is holding a Portfolio Open Day at it’s Clare Street campus from 10am to 1pm. More info here

Saturday 14th January
The Milk Market is open from 8am to 3pm.
Parkrun is a free, weekly, timed 5k run that takes place every Saturday morning at 9.30am. Limerick has Parkruns at the UL Boathouse, Mungret Park and The Demense in Newcastle West. All you need to do is register once on parkrun.com to get your barcode and you can show up to any of the events.
The Wickham Way will be open 10am to 3pm with the stalls selling arts, crafts, etc. from 10am to 3pm.
TUS are hosting an Engineering Open Day from 10am to 1pm at their Moylish Campus. More info here
