Limerick City St Patrick’s Day Parade
The highlight of the festival is the Limerick City St Patrick’s Day Parade, which will take place on Monday, March 17th 2025. The Parade will feature more than 70 different groups, including performing arts groups, sports teams, scouts, guides and members of Limerick’s various international communities. More info here

International Band Championship
Another St Patrick’s Festival highlight is the International Band Championship, which will mark its 53rd edition on Sunday 16th March 2025.
The Limerick International Band Championship will feature over 1,600 marching band musicians from Limerick, Ireland, Europe and North America parade through the city streets before gathering in Arthurs Quay Park for a free concert as they view to become Limerick’s Marching Band champions of 2025.
