August in Limerick

After a busy month, we’re taking a short break from doing our weekly listings for a few weeks. In the meantime, we have our August in Limerick preview. August is shaping up to be just as busy with loads of great events. Here’s what we’re looking forward to.

Féile na Gréine

Feile Na Gréine Lineup

Féile na Gréine is a free music festival taking place across a number of venues across the city on the 18th-20th of August. The festival was started in 2018 by a group of friends who felt that Limerick needed a music festival and set about organising it. The festival’s ethos is about supporting Limerick and its thriving music scene while making sure the gigs are free and accessible for everyone.

Féile na Gréine works like a music trail with gigs in various venues across the city including the Commercial, Mother Macs, Pharmacia, Crew Brewing and Treaty City. The lineup for 2023 is jampacked with acts such as Robocobra Quartet, Naive Ted, Méabh McKenna, Dreamcycles, Katie Kim and many more. The full schedule is due out soon. Check out FeileLK.ie for more info.
