The Night Doesn’t Belong To Us Exhibition runs in the People’s Museum from July 15th to 25th. It is a collaborative project led by Eilís Walsh and artists Maria McSweeney and Julie McLoughlin that explores women’s experiences navigating Limerick city after dark. Supported by the Arts Council of Ireland’s Agility Award, the project aims to capture and share diverse stories, fostering dialogue on women’s safety and the need for inclusive urban spaces. A River Runs Through It, a photography exhibition exploring Limerick albums through the eyes of Limerick artists is on display in the People’s Museum. For the past six months, Keith Kelly has been photographing forty Limerick musicians. Each artist picked their favourite Limerick album, which in turn led on to the next artist.

It Came To Me In A Dream is a new exhibition showcasing the work of Spacecraft Limerick’s members. It’s on display in the Hunt Museum Garden Room until August 5th. Features the work of Angela Vaughan, Theo Hynan-Ratcliff, Emma Conefrey, Laura O’Loughlin, Sibéal Riodan, Carey Long, Shane Vaughan and Amy Richardson.

Nature’s Narrative, an artistic tour of Clare and its coastlines by artist Helen Martin, is on display in the Hunt Museum Cafe during July and August. More info here

The Last Act Exhibition by Marie Hanlon & Rhona Clarke runs in the Limerick City Gallery of Art until 25th August. Last Act is a large-scale synchronised video installation made in collaboration with composer Rhona Clarke. The work presents the climate crises as something both real and abstract, as such it mirrors the human response to a changing earth. More info here

The In a Dream in a Happy House Exhibition by the Shell/Ter Artist Collective runs in the Limerick City Gallery of Art until 26th August. In a Dream in a Happy House is S/TAC’s third show to date and their first show that focuses solely on the collective itself rather than through the lens of a historical collection or role as artistic shelter. Featuring work by artists Diana Copperwhite, Allyson Keehan, Niamh McGuinne, Sharon Murphy and Geraldine O’Neill. More info here

The Creepy Crawlies Love/Hate exhibition is in Hunt Museum until November 21st. This innovative exhibition aims to engage, educate, and inspire visitors of all ages through the fascinating world of bugs and their crucial roles in our biodiversity and daily lives. “Creepy Crawlies: Love/Hate,” is part of The Hunt Museum’s thematic focus of the year – biodiversity. Bad Reputation presents Nadja in Dolans Kasbah at 9pm. A Canadian experimental drone duo based out of Berlin, Germany who offer traces of shoegaze and doom metal amidst their monolithic squall, Toronto-born Nadja is the brainchild (and originally the solo project) of musician and writer Aidan Baker. Parkrun is a free, weekly, timed 5k run that takes place every Saturday morning at 9.30am. Limerick has Parkruns at the UL Boathouse, Mungret Park and The Demense in Newcastle West. All you need to do is register once on parkrun.com to get your barcode and you can show up to any of the events.

The Wickham Way Market Stalls &  Food Court will be open 10am to 3pm (food court open til late).

Croissant Run Club Limerick, a fun social running group, meets at 9.45am at Arthurs Quay Park for a 3.5km run (followed by a Crossiant). More info here
